What visitors say
Really enjoyed our visit. You need to book a time slot in advance. Park in their car park a few minutes drive from the property itself (don't go directly to the property as you can't park there), and then get the shuttle bus to the property itself that leaves regularly. When you arrive at the entrance to the main site, you can then book on a guided tour of the property, and/or garden, or when you want to explore yourself, at different time slots in the day - see photo of blackboard of what was available on Friday 3 July 2026. They have a small cafe with a few tables and chairs indoor and out. A small selection of cakes and lunchtimes. Or equally you could take along your own picnic. Well worth walking around the woodland at the back of the property.

Fantastic house and gardens. We spent over 3.5 hours there with little ones too. The views are fantastic and the flowers in the garden are beautiful. The house is very quirky. The staff are very friendly and the lady giving tours of the garden is so knowledgeable. Our tour lasted over half an hour! The cafe is small, but has everything you need, small bites of food. I'd recommend having a sling or baby carrier for little ones, as it's not so easy to get around with a buggy. Overall 10/10, we can't wait to come again! Thankyou
