What visitors say
Showcase Deluxe Cinema Leicester is in a really good central location which makes it easy to plan a full night out. There are loads of great restaurants nearby like Nando’s Wagamama Yo Sushi and Turtle Bay so it’s perfect for dinner and a movie. The cinema itself is clean and modern and the screens are good. The seats are fine but could definitely be comfier. You can rock them back and forth but they do not properly recline and they feel a bit hard and upright especially for longer films. One thing I did like was that it was warm inside. I have been to other cinemas where it feels cold and uncomfortable but this one was nice and warm. That said a couple of people in my group felt it was a bit too stuffy and overly warm at times. Overall a good cinema in a great location with a few small comfort improvements needed which is why I am giving it four stars.

Showcase Cinema Leicester has a good number of screens and some nice lounge areas, which is great for variety and comfort before the movie. However, the actual theatre experience wasn’t the best. The seats were quite uncomfortable and even gave us back pain, which really affected the overall experience. The washrooms were decent, but the popcorn options were very limited. Drink options were okay, nothing special. Overall, it’s an average experience — some good facilities, but the main part (the cinema hall and seating) needs improvement. 3 stars.

Private Party Hire review Showcase Cinema Deluxe Leicester went above and beyond for my little boys birthday party! Myself, the children and the parents couldn’t quite believe the boys had an entire cinema to themselves! It was something so magical to witness these children’s faces! The staff were so accommodating and friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who wants a unique party idea without any of the stress!

Well I have not been to the cinema in like over 10 years. We usually go the Odeon. But I thought this cinema was going to be better but actually it wasn’t. The seats are tight, they don’t recline, no tables, the fire exit green lights are so bright it’s so distracting. The odeon has recliner chairs in every screen, with tables for food. We ordered nachos which were so salty. Felt disappointed. But the movie was great.

Reviewers consistently praise this cinema for its spacious theaters featuring great screen and sound systems, including excellent XPlus and Dolby Atmos. Many also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, good value, and tasty popcorn.
Some reviews mention the seats can be uncomfortable.
