Rooms are spread across four floors and come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in-room, with accessible rooms also on offer. There's a bar and restaurant on site, plus breakfast available for those who'd rather not head out first thing. Reception operates around the clock, and an electric vehicle charge point is on hand for those who need it, with additional chargeable parking a short walk away at the Highcross Rooftop Car Park.

The hotel is generally well regarded for its comfortable beds, helpful staff and fair prices given its central position, though some rooms have been reported as not always kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Pets are welcome, making it a workable option for those travelling with animals as well as those simply after an affordable stay near Leicester's main sights.

I genuinely feel like I was robbed of the £110 I paid for this stay. It was by far the worst Travelodge I’ve ever experienced. The rooms were run down, tired, and in desperate need of refurbishment. They felt neglected and certainly didn’t reflect what I expected for the price. The breakfast was shocking. It looked and tasted as though most of the hot food had been reheated rather than freshly cooked. The bacon was dry, the mushrooms were overcooked, and the overall quality was terrible. The photos speak for themselves. To make matters worse, there was no juice available because the juice machine was out of order, and no alternative was provided. The corridors smelled strongly of cannabis, which made the hotel feel unpleasant and poorly managed. For £110 a night, I expected a clean, comfortable room and a decent breakfast. Instead, I got a run-down room, the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, and an overall experience that fell far below expectations. I left feeling completely disappointed and that I had not received value for the money I paid. I won’t be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a surprisingly great stay -especially for a 2-star hotel. The room was clean and quiet, which made it really comfortable to relax. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, and the mocha was a highlight 🤤. The location couldn’t be better-everything you need is within easy reach. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The room had the window open when we arrived which meant it was well aired. Slight tardiness of wooden tops. Friendly staff. ADVICE apparently any room can accommodate dogs! My pet hate with hotels! Bath would not run without the shower also being half on. Breakfast was nice, besides the bacon. Parking a pain and £6 if you register your number plate.

Spent a night on the weekend. I’ll keep the important details: - Single room cost about £70 a night but prices were lower during the week. Room itself was quite spacious but there was this large awkward space on the side that could have been used better. The en-suite was nice as it had a tub instead of just a shower. This room came with a kettle, mugs, and tea supplies which I haven’t seen in budget rooms for a while. The bed was relatively comfy but despite the no smoking policy, there were cigarettes burns in the side of the bed sheet which I asked to replace. The room wasn’t the cleanest as there was quite a bit of dust built between the drawers and carpet which had some questionable stains on it. It had a longer desk and a comfy chair too. The main selling point of this hotel is the locations, the centre of Leicester literally a minutes walk from High Street right in the centre next to massive shopping centres. Very close to the University also which is nice just all around very close to loads of activities and places to eat. Overall, given the price of the room and the ‘bad rep’ of the area, it was generally ok for a budget place in a nice area 15 minute walk to the train station also.
