Rural Herefordshire offers quiet countryside living within reach of market towns and the Welsh Marches. Archers Cottage sits down a country lane in Aulden, near Leominster, as a private retreat for two people. The cottage combines period features—exposed beams and wooden floors—with up-to-date facilities: the ground floor holds a living and dining space opening onto the garden, plus a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Upstairs is a single king-size bedroom and shower room. Parking for two cars is on site, and the essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered.
The front garden has seating and furniture for outdoor time, while the surrounding grounds (partly shared with the owner) border open farmland. This is somewhere to settle in rather than dash about—the living area has a smart TV and a collection of books and games for quieter evenings. The kitchen comes with everything needed to cook, from oven and hob to dishwasher and washing machine. Leominster, a short drive away, has antique shops, independent retailers and pubs, and the Black and White Village Trail runs nearby with its timber-framed villages. No smoking inside, and the cottage is for adults only.
