Herefordshire's countryside around Leominster offers walking routes across farmland and access to independent shops, cafés and traditional pubs in nearby towns and villages. Waterloo Cottage sits in the heart of this landscape, approached via a private bridge with farmland and a spacious garden surrounding it.
The cottage sleeps five across two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with a bunk arrangement—and a single bathroom. Downstairs, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, while a sunroom with patio doors opens to the garden. A separate garden room contains a workspace with Wi-Fi, a toilet and a utility area with extra freezer space. The living area has a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings, and there's an outdoor shower, sitting area and firepit in the garden. The hot tub fits four people. Essentials including Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are provided. The property is non-smoking.
A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available for families with young children. Private parking for three cars is included, and there's an electric vehicle charging point on site (charged separately). One well-behaved pet is welcome.

A truly magical retreat, but still close enough for shops.Waterloo Cottage was so welcoming there was a beautiful hamper. Such a clean. Cottage,it was a pleasure to stay here. The views from the conservatory and patio were stunning so relaxing. Enjoyed the Hot Tub with shower outside.Felt we were in another world.Slept like never before which was healing for us.Our dogs loved it,settled in quickly and slept through the night too.Plenty of places to visit.Basically we couldn't have wished for better.Thank you to the owners for all their lovely touches at Waterloo a holiday to always remember with affection.

We stayed here in April '26 and had a super trip. The cottage was clean, homely, and well equipped with everything expected for self-catering accommodation. We liked the personal touches in the interior design that showed the farming connections, and wow those views! The back of the cottage has a sunroom with a terrific outlook across the fields and hills. Views we also enjoyed from the hot tub! The cottage feels secluded and whilst the hosts were on hand (primarily to maintain the hot tub) they respected our privacy. As a location, there's lots of places to see within a short drive (we visited Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow) and Herefordshire itself is a hidden gem of things to do. The cottage is a perfect base of operations to explore further but also a wonderful space itself to waste a day relaxing (we did both!). Looking forward to visiting again.
