About Premier Inn Lewes Town Centre
Premier Inn Lewes Town Centre occupies a modern building on Court Road, close to the railway station and only a short, flat walk from the shops, pubs and sights of central Lewes. It offers the standardised comfort the chain is known for nationally, with straightforward en-suite rooms and an on-site restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals.
The hotel's location makes it one of the easiest bases in Lewes for anyone arriving by train or planning day trips to Brighton, and its flat approach from the station avoids the steepest of the town's historic streets, which can be a genuine consideration for visitors with luggage or limited mobility.
It is a practical rather than characterful choice, but consistent pricing and dependable standards make it a sensible option for families or visitors who want value and location over period charm.
What guests say
We arrived on our cycles having caught a ferry from France, back in the UK after 5 years cycling around the world. Premier Inn welcomed us in style. An extra large ground floor room with plenty of room for the cycles and luggage. Usual great bed ! Great value meal deal, with really good quality fish, not a cheap microwave offering. Fab dessert too. Breakfast hot and cooked to order. A great welcome home, thanks to all the staff there on Sunday 22nd .

Nice stay. The room was spacious and thank God had aircon cos it was boiling. Clean and not tired. The breakfast was very nice as it is cooked to order. Only drawback is the parking is across in the NCP which costs £6 for 24 hours. But it is very close

Stayed here a few times now, previous stays have been average with the rooms feeling a bit dated. Paid for a Premier Plus room and it was worth the extra money. The room felt fresh, more spacious with a coffee machine and a fridge. Wifi was super fast. Great location in the centre of town, a short walk from the train station. Parking is available in the public car park outside but has a limited number of spaces with the maximum stay being 2 hours. Staff were friendly and helpful. I’d recommend having breakfast in the Fuego Lounge which is below the hotel at street level, they have a much better choice of breakfast items and at reasonable prices too.

Love premier Inn for consistency of standards. Great mattress, good sized room and good price. Well located for station and town. Massive shout out to Hope who with her lovely smile and courtesy really made us feel at home and welcome.
