About Lovebrook
Tucked into 33 acres of South Downs National Park countryside near Kingston, Lovebrook offers a wonderfully peaceful escape with a community spirit at its heart. Individual tent pitches are mown as circles into long grass across a huge field, connected by pathways for privacy, with rural views and excellent stargazing on clear nights. The site is part of an ecological community project, so profits fund wellbeing and nature activities for vulnerable groups – you may spot sessions happening around the farm during your stay.
Simple facilities include composting toilets, washing-up sinks and a hot shower set a short walk from pitches. Cars stay off the field but wheelbarrows help you shuttle gear. Saturdays bring the farm to life: a pop-up café serves coffee and pastries, the farm shop stocks local produce, and you can join drop-in yoga or book the woodfired sauna and cold plunge. Kids might enjoy the Family Nature Club on Saturday mornings.
The South Downs Way is just a 10-minute footpath away, and the village pub down the lane has outdoor tables, a playground and a full menu. Off-ground fires and barbecues are welcome, though you'll need to take all rubbish away as there are no bins on site.

What visitors say
Lovely campsite! So much so, we returned for a second visit after last year. Only a short cycle from Lewes station which makes it an easy London getaway. The campsite has beautiful views and ample space between pitches for privacy. It’s also impressive to see all the produce growing in the farm. The facilities are simple but that’s part of the charm and back to basics vibe :) Also the Sunday roast at the Juggs pub down the street is excellent! Will be back again

Truly lovely, welcoming people, Hannah & Rich, creating a beautiful community space. Yoga & events & crafts & ceremonies such as for Imbolc recently. Produce shop, soup & tea etc, volunteering opportunities, parking, & a kind, open, relaxed positive atmosphere. Thank you Lovebrook & may the Community thrive 🙏🤗❤️💚

I love going to Lovebrook farm to volunteer. At the moment, Mondays is permaculture and Tuesdays is market garden. After the volunteering, we sit together and enjoy a community lunch made with produce grown on the farm. The community is very welcoming, especially the wonderful owners Hannah and Rich. Conversations whilst working together are always super interesting. The land itself is incredibly peaceful and a pure antidote for stress. There are plenty of activities and courses throughout the year, as well as sauna and yoga sessions. Thank you Lovebrook farm for existing and enriching our lives with a lovely sense of community and chemical-free produce.

We had a good stay at this campsite. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome. However, we felt the shower could use a little update. It's quite basic and very minimalist — you can see from the photo we’ve posted. It would be helpful to have a small bench and a few hooks or shelves to hang clothes and keep things off the ground, as there’s currently nothing provided.
