We recently stayed at Hanworth Country Park and overall found it to be a beautiful campsite. The pitches are a great size, well maintained, and nice and level. The site itself is lovely, with scenic walks, excellent fishing lakes, charming glamping pods, and an area of static caravans to explore. The pub on site serves good food, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the shower facilities were a major disappointment for us. Although they appeared to be cleaned regularly, they seem to lack adequate ventilation. The smell of mould was extremely strong and overpowering, and because the doors automatically close behind you, it's not even possible to leave them open afterwards to help air them out. By the second morning, we chose to shower in our caravan instead, as the smell was making our little boy gag. In the end, with three of us needing shower facilities, we decided to cut our stay short and leave a day early. It's such a shame because the campsite itself is fantastic and we really wanted to love our stay. If the shower facilities were improved, we would happily return.

Went in earlier today to treat my daughter to breakfast. Ordered coffees, sat down looked at menu and went back to bar to order breakfast 10:55, stood waiting to be served (no one in front of me) young lad behind bar says ‘sorry we stop serving breakfast at 11’ I explain I’ve been waiting to be served and he says ‘next menu is available from 12’. I check the time, bang on 11am. Whilst I understand there needs to be cut off points, I’d been stood waiting and this is the second time I’ve been served by this individual and on both occasions the service has been poor. All the young ladies are lovely. Not only that, it states on the menu that breakfast served until 11:30am. I am regularly recommending Hanworth country park to my clients as on the whole it’s a lovely place to go but the service could be improved

Been here before in a lodge, but this time with our caravan, lovely place but disappointed that there is no fishing in the lake near the pub/cafe. This was the reason for going but now this lake is for paddle boarding and wild water swimming leaving the fishing on the ponds furthest away. During our stay no one used the paddle boarding lake. Such a shame they've done this, won't be going back ! The pub / cafe is very nice.

We spent New Year’s Eve at Hanworth Country Park, and the whole experience was outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome. The spacious, level pitches were easy to set up on, and the warm, spotless showers were a real treat during a very cold, winter stay. Our friends had fully serviced pitches, which they said where very well laid out with plenty of room if they wanted to pop an awning up, on future stays. The park is beautifully designed, with peaceful lakes perfect for fishing, surrounded by abundant nature that makes every walk feel peaceful and refreshing. The paddle boarding and a dedicated wild swim lake— though it was far too cold for us to attempt it this time, is a must for a return visit in the summer. Nature is everywhere you look, and the well stocked fishing ponds kept several members of our group happily occupied.
