What visitors say
Very friendly staff. Very clean. Hot tub checked daily. We utilised the menu for Dennys takeaway. Great prices and piping hot. Highly recommended. Best of all my husband caught plenty of fish. We booked 3 lodges to celebrate his 60th. We visited Skegness and the local area. Beautiful. My husband did not join us for sightseeing. Apparently you don't place an angler beside a lake and expect them to do anything other than catch fish! We all enjoyed it, and we all had a small dabble at the fishing lark. Loved it.

We stayed in Cedar lodge and had a really lovely and relaxing break. We paid for early check in which was well worth it as it meant my husband could have another afternoon/evening of fishing, and it was his birthday! Check in was smooth and super friendly and helpful. The lodge was really clean and well organised for a small space. It has everything you need in terms of facilities for cooking, storage etc. I really liked the washing up pack which included a new cloth, sponge, and clean tea towel, it was a nice tough and gave me confidence that it was all nice new and clean. The bathroom is small but perfectly formed! Shower was nice, nice clean towels, everything you need. Fishing was good, my husband caught plenty which made him happy, I spent time in the hot tub which kept me happy!! Overall this was the most relaxing stay we have had for as long as I can remember. We will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet fishing spot in a lovely area.

Myself, wife and little dog stayed in Chestnut lodge, for 4 nights from the 22nd of June. On arrival we were very impressed with check in, we received a very friendly greeting, and everything was explained about our stay. On arrival at the lodge, we noticed straight away how clean everything was, and how well equipped the lodge was, everything you could possibly need was in there. The welcome and information pack was very useful, with information such as things to do, and places to eat. The hot tub again was very clean, and checked daily, the enclosed garden was also very tidy, we spent a lot of time sat out there during our stay. The fishing was also very good to say it was almost 30 degrees for all our stay. I fished twice, and caught hundreds of Rudd, and also about 15 Carp, the biggest being just over 10 pound. The onsite takeaway is also excellent, and delivered piping hot to your lodge. Overall an excellent stay, so good we have booked again for next year.
