Trecan Farm Cottages – Hayloft sits on an 8-acre working farm a few miles inland from Looe. The property is your own, but you're part of a small complex with shared facilities: a tennis court, games room with pool table and table tennis, and a children's play area. Staff feed the resident goats, chickens, sheep, ducks, pigs and rabbits daily, which guests can watch or help with. The farm's location means beaches are close—Talland Bay and Looe's sandy beach are both within a short drive, as is Porfell Animal Land.
Accommodation is on two levels. Downstairs has an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, Freeview TV and DVD player, plus a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. A shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs: one double bedroom (4ft 6in) and one room with two single beds (3ft each). Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and initial fuel for the woodburner are included. You have parking for two cars on site and an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue.
The property takes one pet and doesn't allow smoking. A natural water supply from a spring serves the cottages, and there's a fenced pond in the grounds—worth noting if children are with you.

A perfect stay here at Trecan Farm Cottages. The accommodation was perfect in every way, perfectly clean and spacious. Everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to fast reliable WiFi, a comfy bed and a nice hot shower. Kirsty is an excellent host, very friendly and kind. She showed our children around the farm and let them hold and feed the small animals and brush the two Shetland ponies. A cream tea waiting for us on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee in the cupboard. The little farmyard and games room kept the kids entertained all week. The countryside surrounding the cottages is absolutely beautiful in every direction. Very quiet and peaceful. Looe and Polperro are 15-20 minutes drive away. There are plenty of places to explore for the cyclists/runners/hikers out there. We are already looking to book again for next year.
