About The Georgian Town House Hotel
Upper Parliament Street runs through the heart of Liverpool, and it's here, in a converted Georgian townhouse, that you'll find this small hotel with just 10 rooms. The building keeps its period character while offering a quiet garden at the back, a rare thing for a hotel this central, and a welcome spot to sit away from the street outside.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and a kitchen area, with room service and a 24-hour reception on hand for anything else. Breakfast is included, WiFi is free throughout, and staff will store luggage if you're arriving early or leaving late. Note that there's no parking on site, so this suits guests arriving by train or without a car.
The location puts pubs, bars, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach, along with plenty of nearby entertainment, making it a straightforward base for exploring Liverpool on foot. It's a modest, characterful stay rather than a grand one, well suited to short breaks in the city centre.

Stayed here with my daughter. We were given the attic room which had a broken skylight, cold draught and smelt of drains. I rang to the owner and she came to change our room straight away. The replacement room was much better and warmer. We found it had everything we needed for a comfortable night. The location was good near the cathederals and docks. The only issue I found was cleanliness - the furnishings need hoovering/ washing as they had crumbs on and were stained in places.

We stayed here one night, and it couldn’t have been worse. Everywhere it’s advertised that the place offers complimentary parking, but what they actually mean is street parking. I asked if a street parking spot could be found late at night, but the manager was unresponsive and never replied. The property itself was run-down, dirty, and very inconvenient. The drafty windows let in constant street noise. There was no air conditioning, the shower was broken, and the sink was clogged. The headboard and sheets were stained. The room was oddly divided by a fire door, which only added to the inconvenience. The shower had just one temperature setting. There was no outlet for the electric kettle, so I had to unplug a lamp. The door lock was broken, so I had to put a chair behind the door to feel safe, especially since we seemed to be the only guests there that night. The stair light timer shut off literally after one second. The list goes on, but I’ll stop here by asking: how on earth did this property get a 3-star rating?

Had an overnight stay with my daughter in July. 2pm check in so lovely and early. Complimentary tea and coffee. Lovely big room and bed was so comfy. Perfect location for a short walk into the city centre. Lovely cooked breakfast included in price. Really enjoyed our stay and for the money it was well worth it.

Worst location, terrible service (no lobby), and room was disgusting. Let me start by saying I hardly ever give reviews unless the accomodations are appalling! This room had no air conditioning (and I'd be ok with that by opening the window but there were no screens on them (flies flew in). Carpet was dirty, headboard on bed was disgustingly dirty. Drapes on window were broken. Bed smelled. Pillows were hard as rocks. Shower door was broken.Quite honestly, this place should be buldoozed and rebuilt. I am going to refute payment. It should be against the law to allow them to advertise as a hotel. It's a slum! If there were zeros for rating, they'd 3 from me!
