About Artro Lodges
Tucked just inside Snowdonia National Park with Cardigan Bay a mile away, Artro Lodges offers a handful of luxury pods perfectly placed for exploring Gwynedd's coast and mountains. Each pod sleeps up to four (double bed plus sofa bed) and comes with TV, heating and a kitchen area - though you'll need to bring bedding if using the sofa bed. Harlech's magnificent 13th-century castle sits under 10 minutes' drive away, while Porthmadog and the famous Ffestiniog Railway are 25 minutes up the road.
Llanbedr village is a two-minute walk for pubs and provisions, with a bus stop and train station equally close for car-free exploring. The site runs as a 'peace and quiet' spot - no noise after 11pm - and pets aren't permitted, keeping things tranquil for those who want Snowdonia's drama without the camping crowds. It's a small, well-kept base that ticks the luxury-pod boxes without fuss.

What visitors say
Fantastic little pod, we had two adults and two kids. Fully kitted out with bedding, pots and pans with plenty of knives and forks and tea towels. Cleaning stuff also Left for people to use. Bed was very comfortable. Pods get very warm so would be perfect for the cooler weather. Shower is tiny but has lovely pressure and gets very hot. Radiators have a cool/frost section but we did not benefit from it. Area was lovely and very peaceful. Full of greenery and sheep. Also perfect if you want to see the stars.

Been coming to these lodges for years. For the past 4/5 times stayed at Phoenix Lodge. Vicky and Andy are excellent hosts. The lodge is built to a high spec, even got an EV charging unit. Hot tub, 3 beds and much more. In a great part of Wales. Barmouth, Harlech, Porthmadog, Snowdonia all in easy reach.

We stayed at Lodge 7 for 3 nights. The cabin really needs some maintenance and small repairs. The toilet tank in the bedroom didn’t work, and the hot tub was also not working properly . It was quite dark inside – there wasn’t enough light in the living room or kitchen. The frying pan was so scratched that it was impossible to even cook eggs properly. The metal trash bin was very noisy, and most of the doors were hard to close and squeaky. The internet connection was very weak. The location wasn’t great either – it’s quite far from everything, and the nearby town is very small. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay, but the place definitely needs better upkeep and some improvements.

I stayed here many years ago. Very clean and spacious property. Nicley laid out and all the facilities you need. Sunny days make the scenery even more spectacular. Good place for being central to Snowdonia and local areas of interest. Small village close by with a good restaurant,Mobile Pizza Maker, small shop with many products for sale.. Another town nearby too for more variety of needs.
