Gardd Afon

It is a little place of heaven. Perfect location to sit back a breath and ground yourself. The yurts facilitys are nice and clean and well set out. Indoor and outdoor cooking facilitys Toilet and nice shower. Theres been alot of thought put into the yurt and it shows with little touches of Joss sticks, little ornaments. Tapestries. Well worth a short break/ holiday

A beautiful yurt with eclectic furnishings. Fabulous views set in a working, off grid, family small holding. The yurt was spotless and equipped with everything you need. There was a plentiful supply of logs for the woodburner which was ready to light with the strike of a match. A large cool box is supplied with ice packs in lieu of a fridge which kept our milk etc fresh. Alistair is a delightful host being friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will definitely return

A wonderful, huge, well equipped yurt with beautiful views. The accommodation warmed up really well by using the log burner, with all logs kindly provided, plus the bedding was so warm that we were kept cosy all night long. The kitchen has all you need to prepare a meal, which we did both days for breakfast and dinner. The shower, though somewhat outside, was delightfully warm and refreshing, and one of my favourite parts of the stay, to be honest! We brought a set of camping solar string fairy lights with us, which did help a little towards some extra functional lighting, however we would have been fine without. There is a rather steep hill with steps to navigate from where you park to the yurt, but it's doable and so worth it for the outlook you get! Gardd Afon was the perfect blend of off grid living, whilst still providing the practical day to day facilities we have all become accustomed to. A lovely reset in nature for those who are seeking peace. We would love to come back again in future🥰

Nothing more than amazing place to go off grid and spend time rewinding. I proposed to my partner there early January.... she said yes of course 🥰 We couldnt wait to go back so booked another 2 nights with Alistair and his family.... one of those experiences that will stay for ever. Xan not wait to go again Thank you both for having us again
