About Cilsane Lodges
Perched above the Towy Valley with sweeping Carmarthenshire views, Cilsane Lodges offers a luxurious rural retreat just ten minutes from Llandeilo. Each cosy lodge comes with a proper double bed, ensuite power shower, fluffy towels and toiletries – plus a welcome hamper to kick-start your stay. Outside, your private deck is perfect for barbecues or simply gazing across the valley, while well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you all year round.
The site's intimate scale (just a handful of lodges) and enclosed private gardens make it wonderfully peaceful. Wander down to the wildlife pond, watch the chickens and ducks potter about, or try the handmade outdoor games. Dinefwr Castle, Carreg Cennen and the National Botanic Garden are all within easy striking distance, and Llandeilo's cafés and restaurants are a short drive away. A charming base for walkers and anyone seeking a touch of Carmarthenshire calm.

Absolutely 1st class! Amazing place, so private, tranquil and peaceful. Hosts were fabulous too and couldn’t do enough for us. A lovely stay at the cosy Cilsane Lodges. Rob and Lowri can never do enough for their guests. Hot tub is easy to use. Bed is the comfiest I have ever slept in and the pillows are fab too. Nice walk into Llandeilo via the countryside (45 mins) and close to other beach destinations like Tenby. Home from home, one of my fave destinations. Of course I will be back!

Me and my partner stayed here on the 9th-11th of December in Teilo lodge and we will definitely be returning! This lodge is an absolute gem. The views are nothing short of breathtaking, and the owners are genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Every detail of the stay felt thoughtfully considered, making it one of the most relaxing and comfortable getaways we’ve ever experienced. Wish we could give more than 5 stars!

We booked for this weekend and also a weekend in December. Sadly we’ve cancelled Dec due to the fact two of us ended up sleeping on the thinnest mattress on the floor. Sofa bed broken, slates broke. Owner told however never apologised or offered to sort for the second night. So spending two nights on the floor is just not acceptable. Other slight issues were earring found on floor plus hair band wrapped in hair, and lots of black thick webs, not recent been there some time. Shane as I say very lovely grounds. And on arrival host seemed nice. This though then was questionable when we are sleeping on the floor. Needs a new sofa bed. And attention to cleaning.
