About Erwlon Caravan and Camping Park
Erwlon Caravan and Camping Park sits within easy walking distance of Llandovery town centre, making it a practical base for exploring the Carmarthenshire countryside. The well-maintained grounds feature colorful floral displays throughout, with spacious pitches spread across 46 electric family-friendly plots, 11 adult-only electric pitches, and 25 non-electric grass pitches. The heated shower and toilet blocks are kept consistently clean, and the site's pay-as-you-go electricity system works efficiently alongside free, reliable WiFi.
Dogs are welcome year-round, and the friendly staff earn consistent praise for their helpfulness. While it's a straightforward, no-frills setup rather than a resort-style site, that simplicity suits campers who want good facilities, convenient town access, and a well-kept environment without unnecessary extras.

What visitors say
Beautiful campsite which we will definetly return to. Secure dog walk area. Good facilities block. Some pitches are not level so we used our ramps which levelled us fine. Electric meter so we put £10 on but only used £4.20 for our 2 night stay and refunded within a few hours of return home. Good to be able to see on app usage during stay. Very friendly and helpful staff on site. Thank you

We love this campsite. The owners and staff are super friendly. There's a large shower & toilet block which is always really clean and heated. There's also a washing up room with fridge freezer, ironing board and a book swap. Plenty of bins and recycling bins at the back. There's always birds singing and we've seen red kites and herons flying over! 😊

We stayed in the glamping pods for 2 nights, really clean, comfy and cosy. Beautiful location, lovely kept campsite, 5 minute walk into town & co op. Really enjoyed our stay, we’d love to come back and would recommend to anyone!

I booked a 5-night stay at Erwlon Caravan and Camping Park, largely attracted by their clear policy on late-night noise. While the park has massive potential, a lack of rule enforcement and tired facilities let it down. The Positives: 1. Staff: The reception staff and wardens were incredibly friendly and welcoming on arrival. 2. Grounds & Location: The park is set in a beautiful location with well-maintained grounds. 3. Perks: Free, reliable Wi-Fi across the site and free showers are excellent additions. The Issues: 1. Pitching & Space: The site filled up rapidly with tents practically on top of each other. Wardens should have been guiding people to ensure proper safety spacing between units and on to their proper pitches. 2. Unenforced Rules: The "no ball games" rule was entirely ignored. My car was struck so hard by a frisbee it set off the alarm. A simple walk-around by wardens to gently remind guests of the rules would solve this. This rule was brought in by the park due to the amount of holiday homes being damaged due to ball games, yet it continues. 3. Severe Noise Problems: The 10pm quiet policy was not enforced. By nights 3 and 4, there was music, drinking, and shouting well past midnight. With no wardens in sight to manage it, I was forced to sleep in my car for two nights and ultimately packed up and left a day early. It felt like a party park. 4. Tired Facilities & Safety Risks: The amenities need serious TLC. One washing-up area had no hot water (2 kettles provided, but with only one working socket). Worse, an electrical fuse was hanging off the wall within reach of children. In the main washrooms, a shower room had an exposed plug socket visible through a ceiling opening, a missing cover on the shower button, and broken toilet seats. Summary: These are simple fixes. If management can get on top of the night-time noise and give the facilities some much-needed maintenance, this could be an amazing site.
