Henllys Lodge

Families and larger groups will find Henllys Lodge works well for a week away. The detached house sleeps eight across four bedrooms—a kingsize with its own shower room and wet room, two doubles (one with ensuite facilities, one sharing the family bathroom), and a bunk room for younger children. Three bathrooms in total mean less negotiation over timings. Bed linen, towels, and wi-fi are all included, and there's a welcome basket on arrival.

The ground floor is open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a separate kitchen fitted with a full range of appliances—electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer—so you can manage meals and laundry without fuss. Double doors open onto a large garden with patio, lawn, double swing, and sitting areas; there's also a barbecue for outdoor cooking. Off-road parking for three cars and an electric vehicle charging point are on site.

The property was rebuilt with eco-friendly features: ground source heat pumps, underfloor heating throughout, solar panels, and sheep's wool insulation. No smoking inside. Llandovery is in rural Carmarthenshire, surrounded by countryside, and a highchair and travel cot are available if needed.
