About Llandovery Caravan and Camping Park

Just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, this friendly site attached to Llandovery RFC offers a relaxed base for exploring South Wales' wildest corners. A 10-minute stroll brings you into town for pubs, shops, and a heritage centre brimming with tourist information, while the River Tywi – Wales' longest – flows a few minutes' walk away for salmon fishing or waterside rambles.

Head deeper into the national park to hike around Llyn y Fan Fach, stopping at the Red Kite Feeding Station to watch these majestic birds, or venture to Carreg Cennen Castle and the abbey ruins at Talley. Back on site, the rugby club serves food and drinks Thursday to Sunday evenings, there's a play area for children, and facilities include showers, launderette, and free wifi. Pitches are on grass or hardstanding, with electric hookups available. The site can feel a little basic in places, but the warm welcome and prime location more than compensate.

We held our campervan rally here . Tracey and Rob were super helpful through out the whole process and very accommodating with numbers, grass and hard pitches all with ehu. The rugby clubhouse facilities were also available with good food, good choice and value for money. Everyone around friendly and welcoming. Llandovery town is delightful and easy walking distance . Highly recommended

Not all toilets were avaliable...water from showering went into the middle of the shower block, unable to brush away water due to uneven floor and inadequate mop. So was dangerous. The chemical toilet was wiffy and the smell from the bins added to it! Good location for the village and the staff were lovely...

Excellent site as a base for road cycling in the area. Booked one night, stayed for two. All booking and payment made over the phone as Tracey was away and couldn't have been more straightforward and helpful. Plenty of hot water in the showers. Easy 10 minute walk into town to pubs and supermarket. Also a co-op on the other side of town which is about a 20 minute walk through the town We will definitely be back.

Tidy spot. Grounds need a lot to be desired and so do the bathrooms. The service is very poor. Don't bother to call the mobile out of hours as they don't answer and don't bother getting back to you either. Shame as it spoils the feel of the place
