Orchard Barn

Orchard Barn is a converted barn in the village of Dolau, a quiet settlement in the rolling landscape around Llandrindod Wells. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a ground-floor king bed in an ensuite and upstairs two single beds served by a separate shower room. The open-plan ground floor combines living space, dining area and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all provided. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating comes from an air source heat pump.

An enclosed garden with seating furniture opens off the back, and there is parking for two cars on site. One dog can stay at no extra cost, though the surrounding sheep country means pets need to stay on a lead. Smoking is not permitted indoors. The location puts you within reach of Llandrindod Wells itself, with its Victorian lake and spa buildings, and the Elan Valley Trail is a short drive away for walking and cycling through reservoir country. The Radnorshire Wildlife Trust reserves and Offa's Dyke Path lie nearby, as do various local castles and historical sites.
