Absolutely stunning location. Peaceful and serene. Stayed in the Cabin with friends and it was great - well appointed with comfortable furniture and everything we needed for the weekend. Only minor improvement would be a knife sharpener or for the knives to be sharpened on a regular basis but this is something I find in all accommodation so either take one or a couple of knives. Run by a lovely family.

Hobbit House – what a beautiful place to stay. Quirky, unique, wonderful surroundings and very well presented. Everything you could need was thoughtfully provided within the property. The hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The access to the river was a lovely bonus and made the stay even more special. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant wild camping experience, I'm definitely coming back later on this year when I arrive home from my trip. The family are really nice, and the facilities are great. There is a river next to one of the few fields you can choose to stay.

Second time we have been here, clean, quirky and fun. The showers and toilets are pristine, the site itself is a hidden gem. From the walk through the nature tunnel to the random objects placed around it makes me smile from the time we arrive until sad face when we leave. The kitchen that can be used is amazing! From electric kettle (oh how useful is that when you are setting up/pulling down to be able to make a brew!) To the full size cooker you will not be disappointed! The site owners will go above and beyond to help make your stay as good as it can be. Had to cut our stay short by a day, nothing to do with the site, but an unwelcome dose of pneumonia but we will be back! Hoping to bring the grandchildren next time.
