Rural Shropshire around Oswestry sits between two market towns and the Welsh border, with Lake Vyrnwy's walking trails an hour's drive away and the mid-Wales coast roughly 90 minutes further on. The Old Milking Parlour is a converted farm building in a quiet village setting, sleeping three across two bedrooms—a double and a single—with parking for two cars and garden space out front.
Everything is on the ground floor: a living and dining area with a smart TV opens on to a patio, the kitchen has a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, and there's a utility room with a washing machine. The single shower room completes the layout. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The property is no-smoking throughout.
Shrewsbury and Oswestry are each a short drive away for shops and cafes. The location works equally well as a base for families wanting a quieter break or for anyone looking to explore the borderlands on foot or by bike.

What guests say
I would have given 5 stars, but we had a few issues. The wi-fi was non existent, l was finally able to quickly down load a book at 1am. The chair which looked very nice in the pictures was so uncomfortable you couldn't sit on it for more than 5mins. Perhaps a new seat cushion would be a good idea. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.
