About Belmont Llandudno

A generous breakfast with plenty to choose from sets the tone at Belmont Llandudno, and there's a bar on site for a relaxed evening drink alongside room service and drinks brought straight to your door for those who'd rather not move at all. Packed lunches are available too, handy for a day spent exploring along the coast.

The rooms are comfortable and well kept, many with sea views that guests particularly rate, and all come with en-suite bathrooms. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, though this is an adults-only property, and extras include free WiFi, a lift, and garden views from some spots. The area also suits golf, fishing, cycling and walking, with pubs, restaurants and watersports nearby for those wanting more variety. Pets are welcome, so the whole household can come along.

Can't do anything other than 5 star. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent, the bar was excellent and it was very nice sitting out on the terrace on an evening. It's very dog friendly as well. What made the trip though was the staff, very friendly and can't do enough for the guests. Everyone is a credit to the hotel. This is now our go to hotel for any trips to North Wales.

Nice room. Easy to find. There is a coffee machine in the room and couldn't use it as it needs descaling. It needs to be descaled. Bedside lamp also not working. Other than that lovely room. Only stayed for 1 night. Great location very close to shops and restaurants and pier.

Stayed for 2 nights B&B with my 5 year old granddaughter. Pros outweigh the cons. Pros Fantastic location. Just across the road from the pier and about a 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. Breakfast was good. There was a good choice of cereal as well as continental. Cooked breakfast was really good, served promptly and freshly cooked. Room amenities are excellent. Cans of water, which was much needed during the heatwave, plenty of teabags/milk & sugar and a coffee maker. Also the little extras like earplugs & an eye mask and a fan are a nice touch. Cons We stayed in a superior rear room with twin beds (room 106). Sadly I didnt regard it as ‘superior’. The room was quite small and the view was dismal. The carpet was quite grubby and unfortunately the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom let it down significantly. What looked like blood stains on the walls and thick grime under the sink plug were unacceptable for the price I paid for the room. The room got very hot despite having a fan. Heavy duvets on the beds during hot weather isn’t ideal, may be worth investing in lower tog duvets for the warmer months. On our last day they decided to carry out maintenance on the lift so I had to carry our suitcases down 2 flights of stairs, not great when you’re recovering from cancer surgery. Would I stay again? Yes, but I think I’d prefer a bigger room with a view which would obviously cost more so I’d expect better cleanliness.

The hotel is in an excellent location and staff were friendly, but some attention to detail is lacking. We pre-booked a travel cot, but it wasn’t in our room and had to chase it up, we also had a previous guests pyjamas in our bedside cabinet! The window openings also need a good clean, however, the room in general and the bathroom in particular was very clean. Breakfast, to be honest, was a bit of a shambles, only 1 highchair in the entire hotel despite them knowing how many infants were booked in for breakfast, which with an energetic toddler was an issue and the staff couldn’t help, they just said that the hotel had sent them all to their sister hotel because they were going to stop allowing children to stay at some point in the future!!! They also didn’t keep on top of replenishing the buffet causing a queue and didn’t keep on top of replenishing the crockery either , we had to ask for fruit, yoghurt, bowls for the cereal, and napkins. Would I stay there again, probably yes, but definitely wouldn’t book the breakfast. I did email the manager Liam, as he wasn’t there but he has, up to now, failed to respond.
