About Four Oaks Hotel

Four Oaks Hotel suits travellers who want a straightforward seaside stay with meals and entertainment sorted for them. It occupies a spot on Penrhyn Crescent close to the seafront, with The Summit Complex nearby and Llandudno itself under a mile away, making it a practical base for exploring without needing a car for every trip.

Rooms come as en-suite doubles, family rooms and accessible rooms, all with the basics covered including free WiFi and drinks available in-room. The restaurant and bar are the heart of the place, with breakfasts that get particular praise and a good range of choices at mealtimes, though the set meal ordering can feel a bit fixed rather than flexible. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, and there's organised entertainment in the evenings. A lift, 24-hour reception and free on-site parking round out the practical side.

Outside, the area offers walking and cycling routes, golf and fishing, plus pubs and restaurants within reach for those who want to venture out. It's a hotel built for guests who value comfort, company and a full plate over independence and surprises.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel recently, I went with Dunwoods coach holidays. The Manager, Moses was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The meals were good with plenty of choice, my server Daniel was very efficient & friendly and made sure you had everything you needed, Yvonne in the bar was lovely & very helpful with bringing our drinks into the lounge. The decor of the hotel was good especially the dinning room & lounge where there was entertainment every night of a good standard. The hotel grounds are fabulous with well kept lawn and flower borders The hotel location is brilliant right on the seafront and local to the Town and relail park. All in the customer service was excellent from all staff, I could even hire a mobility scooter from the hotel to get around. My room was very clean on arrival and serviced every day. All in a great holiday

Lovely stay at this hotel. Room very comfortable seaview. Good shower and plenty room with wardrobe and drawer space. Food was good and plentiful. Service and staff fab . Well situated hotel..3 doors down from venue centre . Would stay again if in area. Enjoyed our trip. Llandudno a typical wee seaside resort better than most.

I love the hotel, the food is excellent and the dining room is really nicely furnished, very modern and pleasant with ceiling fans. The room was small with really comforting but high beds. Shower works well and bathroom was small but pleasantly furnished and clean. Only issue room was very hot and they don't provide fans....it's extremely uncomfortable especially in a heat wave. The window only opens a small amount due to sea gulls apparently which added to the heat issue. Also noisy due to sound of breaking glass, vehicles or talking outside window. We would need an alternative room if we stayed again.

Location. Absolutely perfect. Food was good however having to choose breakfast choices and evening meal choices, a day ahead is ridiculous, like being in hospital. I might fancy one thing today but tomorrow change my mind, one day we forgot to tick the starter, instead of checking it was just not served. When I asked if we could have starters, were told no sorry. Asked for an extra orange juice for one of our party and told no. Entertainment was good, bingo and a singer that kept all our party happy and dancing. The room? Dated, with ripped and patched wallpaper, high beds and lights on the wall that I kept banging my head on. The room furniture is just basic Corona type furniture and one set of drawers didn't even have a handle on it. Kettle and tea / coffee facilities in room as well as a TV. Some of our party complained that the rooms were too hot, ours was too cold as the radiator, even on full, barely gave off any noticeable heat The bathroom, basic, functional and clean enough. Cheap nylon shower curtain that didn't contain any water splash from the shower, needing towels on the floor to avoid flooding the room below. Many people during our stay, had problems with the lift and as it only holds 2 people, then getting downstairs if you have mobility issues means waiting for the lift or a long walk up if you're on the upper floors. Prices at the bar were very reasonable, the waiting staff / bar staff were so lovely. Julia (and sorry I forgot the other lady's name) and Moses also, such lovely people. This hotel has so much potential and it could easily go from 2 star to 4 star with some updating and tlc. I hope they do make the effort.
