Whether it's evenings watching the sunset over Llangollen or days hiking mountains, riding steam trains or scoping out castles, things are equal parts relaxing and exciting at Llangollen Shepherd's Huts. This tiny, adults-only retreat offers traditional shepherd's huts, each with its own hot tub and parking space, perched above town with spectacular valley views.
Llangollen itself is just a 15-minute stroll downhill, where restaurants and pubs await after you've worked up an appetite on the local peaks or exploring the UNESCO-listed Pontcysyllte Aqueduct ten minutes' drive away. The truly ambitious can tackle The Llangollen Round, a 33-mile circuit of the Vale's summits. Back at your hut, rinse off in the shower room before sinking into bed or straight into that hot tub – the perfect end to a day in this walkers' paradise.

My sister and I had the most amazing time at these beautiful shepherds huts with amazing views our 3 night stay was so relaxing the hut inside was everything you need beautifully done out so clean . A very friendly warm welcome from the owner . Will definitely be going again .

A fantastic time was had. Mike is a lovely bloke and welcoming. Really enjoyed my time here. Used the local kebab house which was lovely. Friendly staff and great food.

Fabulous two night stay in the shepherds hut. Beautiful location, great host. 10 minute ‘stroll’ into lovely Llangollen. Peaceful relax in the hot tub after an adventurous day. The hut has everything you need to switch off and relax and just enjoy the surroundings. Thank you to Mike and Julie for a fabulous stay. Highly recommend a stay here, you won’t regret it.
