What visitors say
We had an overall great experience at The Celtic Manor Resort. The staff were extremely friendly and any minor issues or inconveniences we had they were there to resolve them instantly! Our room AC was working immaculately after the filter was changed within the first hour of being there. The room was clean and spacious. Next time, I recommend booking their signature rooms/floor for a more luxurious stay. Activities? So many you could do here! You can’t run out of them! I also walked their forest trail early in the morning and that was a lovely experience too! We loved their pool, sauna and steam facilities too! We used all of them every day! Things they could do better? - They need to fix their 3rd lift asap! Three lifts already don’t seem enough considering how many visitors they have. Two lifts currently working means it took ages to get to your room or out of your room. Very inconvenient. Also, it meant that when you did use the lift, it’s likely you were there with 7 more people. Felt like London Rush hour Tube. - Parking? Come on! Why would you be charging for parking per day for your guests that pay £200+ per night. Surely that’s not right. If you were a hotel in the middle of town, I get that. People could get to you by other means or most of your visitors are tourists with no cars? Here… you definitely have most of your visitors drive to you, you are next to the motorway after all. Charging for parking to your overnight guests gives your guests a negative image. Lastly, being the last thing they will do before they leave your premises; surely that’s not how you want them to remember you about their experience here! Thank you for an overall great experience! This was very close to being a faultless experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Celtic Manor while celebrating our son's graduation, and it made such a special occasion even more memorable. The hotel is beautiful, the facilities are excellent, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming and professional. The atmosphere throughout our stay was fantastic, and it really felt like the perfect place to celebrate such an important family milestone. The only disappointment was that the air conditioning in our son's room wasn't working. We reported it twice during our stay, but unfortunately the issue wasn't resolved before we left. Given the warm weather, this did affect his comfort and was a shame, especially as everything else was so good. Overall, we had an amazing experience and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you to the team for helping make our son's graduation such a memorable celebration.

Increíble resort! It has all you need! The staff were so kind. The pool and sauna were great. Although it is an indoor pool, it is very close to an open space outdoors where you can move the chairs to which makes the pool feel almost outdoors (great in nice weather!). The rooms were great as well. Highly recommend!

We had a magical experience at Celtic, celebrating a milestone birthday. I had booked a Deluxe King, but on arrival (the express check-in via app is fantastic by the way) we were directed to a Signature Suite on the 10th floor which blew us away. This meant we then had access to the Signature Lounge on the sixth floor with complimentary coffee and sweet treats (and sundowner prosecco!) and could then take breakfast in Steak on Six which was perfect. We are so grateful for the exceptional service we encountered and would also highly recommend after dinner drinks in the Merlin Bar where the live music was brilliant. The only tiny piece of constructive feedback was around the AC in the room, but this could have been user error or the fact it is just so hot this month. We will be back! We also had 18 holes on The Montgomerie Course , and again the whole experience was great - a complimentary shuttle up to the club house, which was ordered by the very friendly concierge, and the course itself is in phenomenal condition. Highly recommend a buggy however as it is huge.
