About The Manor House At Celtic Manor
A manor house of considerable character, The Manor House At Celtic Manor forms the traditional heart of the wider Celtic Manor estate, set among the woodland at Coldra Woods on the edge of Newport. Its period style contrasts with the practical comforts inside, giving the place a settled, established feel rather than that of a purpose-built hotel block.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks and room service, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children, along with kids' meals and childcare on request. Guests have use of an indoor swimming pool, gym, spa and sauna, plus a restaurant, bar and outdoor seating for warmer days. Practical extras include a lift, electric vehicle charging, valet parking and airport transfers, along with concierge services and packed lunches for days out.
The surrounding grounds and countryside suit walking and cycling, and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available nearby, alongside further pubs and restaurants beyond the estate. It makes a reasonable base for exploring Newport and the wider area, with the option to stay close to the hotel and use its own facilities instead.
