About Celtic Manor Resort
The rolling countryside around Chepstow Road, on the edge of Newport, forms the backdrop to Celtic Manor Resort, a substantial hotel with 334 rooms and grounds large enough to house a spa and extensive facilities away from the city centre. The setting gives the resort a sense of space that's rare so close to South Wales's main towns, with gardens surrounding the property and the wider countryside visible from its grounds. Rooms come with air conditioning, drinks and the usual comforts, and the resort operates at a scale that includes a lift, porter and concierge services, and valet parking alongside free on-site parking. There's a restaurant and bar on-site, breakfast is served, and free WiFi runs throughout. Guests wanting to unwind can use the indoor swimming pool and spa and sauna facilities, while meeting rooms and a wedding venue cater to events and larger groups. Newport itself lies a short distance away, and Weston Seaquarium is among the local points of interest worth a visit. Laundry service and luggage storage are on hand for those staying longer, making Celtic Manor Resort as practical for business stays and weddings as it is for a countryside break near Newport.
