About 12 London Street Apartments
Walk into a room at 12 London Street Apartments and you get a self-contained space rather than a standard hotel box, with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and drinks laid on, plus family rooms available for those travelling with children. Room service and a laundry service are on hand for anything guests haven't packed, and the apartment style suits longer stays in the city.
Downstairs there's a restaurant and bar, with breakfast served and kids' meals, snacks and packed lunches available for those heading out early. A gym, garden, outdoor seating and picnic area give guests space beyond their room, while concierge, meeting rooms and business services cover more practical needs, and luggage storage and airport transfers take care of arrivals and departures. Parking is chargeable and found nearby rather than on site.
The location in Marylebone puts Baker Street and Regent's Park within easy reach, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby for evenings out. Feedback on the property has been mixed rather than uniformly glowing, so it suits guests after a functional, well-equipped base in a good part of London more than a polished luxury stay.
What guests say
The apartment is in a great location, just a five-minute walk from Paddington Station, offering easy access to the city center via the Underground. We were pleasantly surprised, as apartments usually don't offer housekeeping services; here, however, the service was included—just like in a hotel! We highly recommend it for couples or small families, as it features two bedrooms. We also warmly recommend the services of Gabriel at the reception, who arranged this for us!

We had an amazing stay at this apartment in Paddington! The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk from Paddington Station, with easy access to the Tube, Heathrow Express, restaurants, and shops. It made exploring London completely stress-free. The apartment was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Having a kitchen and extra space compared to a hotel really made our trip more enjoyable. The bed was cozy, WiFi was reliable, and everything felt well-maintained and welcoming. What truly stood out was how convenient and peaceful the stay felt despite being in central London. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting London!

Excellent location close to paddington station, we stayed during a heat wave 37c average and the airconditing was wonderful/ very cold. Beds comfortable and had stocked kitchen. Housing keeping kept us stocked on bottles of water, milk and cokes Only two slight negatives was if searching for the hotel location via Google the apartment is on the next street over. Indigo hotel is where we checked in. The shower had strong running water but getting the correct temp was a little bit of challenge but had it mastered by our third day.

We stayed in flat 4 which was at the very top. My concerns (which haven't been taken seriously be Expedia or the apartment direct) are as follows: The property information stated we should have 2 bathrooms - we only had 1 (therefore the accommodation wasn't as stated) The cooker was unusable as the temperature numbers were rubbed off the dial and the mode selection dial also wasn't that clear. The sticker on the door stated the last PAT test was 2018 and the next due in 2019 - I doubt it would pass an electrical safety or PAT test in this condition The stairs, or Mount Everest as the reception staff called it, were not a problem for us, but we weren't notified of them and for many others this could have been a problem. Worryingly the only exit was down the stairs, so in case of a fire this is a serious health and safety issue Although the apartment was booked for 3, it was not set up to accommodate 3 - no teaspoons, no tea towel for drying dishes, only 2 forks and 2 drinking glasses, missed matched wine glasses and no bottle opener or corkscrew The fridge/freezer door opened the wrong way, which made it impossible to get into if someone was sitting at the table
