This is an excellent place. It's a couple of minutes from a train station that gets you into London in 30 minutes. The place is on the high street close to restaurants and pubs - some where you might get discounts from the hotel. It's a great location and the rates are hard to beat. Importantly, the staff is brilliant and very helpful

The owners of this Hotel, Lucky and Nina, are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are kind and helpful and always have time for a chat. The Hotel is a listed building and has been renovated into a beautiful hotel with everything you could possibly need. It is incredibly clean, warm and homely. The rooms are gorgeous with lovely fittings and the bathroom has really good light and a nice shower with constant hot water. I felt so at home and comfortable I did not want to leave. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world but this Hotel beats the lot! What more can I say? 5 star rating plus from me and a great big thank you to our hosts.

Fabulous place, don't know why we haven't stayed before. Room was immaculate and large. The secondary glazing meant we couldn't hear any road noise so even though we were in the middle of the village we had a very sound night sleep. No parking on site but the station car park is about 30 seconds walk away and only 1.50 for the day so absolutely no trouble. The staff were lovely and incredibly accommodating. They have organised discounts at local places which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent communication from friendly hotel staff. Easy check in. Clean, well present en-suite room. Will definitely recommend and stay again if need arises. Great central location for food and entertainment. Train station just around corner.
