About Crowne Plaza London - Kingston
Kingston's stretch of the Thames provides the backdrop for the Crowne Plaza London - Kingston, a 121-room hotel on Portsmouth Road within easy reach of the town centre and its transport links. Spread across four floors, the hotel is well placed for anyone wanting to combine a stay in London with quick access into the capital.
Rooms are generally spacious and comfortable, with many looking out over the river, and all come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, along with practical extras such as room service, laundry service and drinks in the room. That said, some parts of the hotel show their age, and service can be a little inconsistent, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly.
On site there's a restaurant, bar and snack bar, plus breakfast and packed lunches for those heading out early, and a gym for staying active. Business services, meeting rooms and concierge support suit corporate visitors, while pets are welcome and on-site parking is available for a charge. Nearby options include golf, watersports, pubs and restaurants, making it a workable base for both leisure and business trips to Kingston.
What guests say
We were very happy to get upgraded to a balcony suite on check-in. Fab views of the Thames. Breakfast was just ok. Check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately service at breakfast time was dreadful. We waited quite a while for food to be replenished. Only one young man on the floor and he was run off his feet. Quality of breakfast wasn't good. Beds were very comfortable and a brilliant shower with really nice toiletries.

Stayed here whilst attending a concert at Hampton Court Palace. Loverly location overlooking the Thames. If your in a balcony room you can watch the goings on upon the river. Room was spotless, with really comfortable bed. Air-conditioning worked as it should, although a little noisy. It was certainly needed in mid 30 temperatures. Bus stop right outside and Surbiton rail station short walk or bus ride away. Didn't take the car, but there appeared to be ample parking. Breakfast was large choice buffet style and good quality. Didn't use the bar but seemed to be well stocked and popular. Would definitely stay again

I had a nice one-night stay at the hotel. The room featured a lovely balcony, and there was easy access to parking for an additional £10, which was convenient. The rooms were spacious, with a very comfortable bed and perfect pillows, making for a great night’s sleep. The only area that could be improved is cleanliness. Unfortunately, the toilet seat was not cleaned properly, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a pleasant stay with good comfort, but attention to detail in cleaning would make it even better.

We used Crowne Plaza hotel as the venue for our wedding ceremony. Right from the start , there was excellent communication with the hotel (Yash Punia in particular was our contact person). They were always ready to answer our numerous(no less than 1million😂) questions. They were quite flexible and tried to accommodate our needs as much as possible. Ie on catering, decorations etc They were professional and helpful in organising before the D-day and making sure everything went well on the day itself. After the event , we had no issues in getting our security deposit back. I am so happy we chose this hotel as the venue for our wedding!! It was a Nigerian party and we were able to have a party that surpassed our expectations. We took beautiful pictures as well. I highly recommend!!!
