About Georgian House Hotel
St George's Drive sits in the heart of Pimlico, a quiet stretch of Victorian terraces just a short walk from Victoria Station and within easy reach of Buckingham Palace. Georgian House Hotel occupies one of these grand townhouses, its period façade giving little away about the individuality found inside.
The hotel has 59 rooms, including a set of distinctive wizard-themed rooms that set it apart from the average London stay. Breakfast is a particular strength, with a wide choice of hot and cold options to start the day. Elsewhere there's a restaurant and bar on site, free WiFi, luggage storage, meeting rooms and concierge service, while free on-site parking is a genuine rarity in this part of London. Staff are consistently described as friendly and ready to help with local recommendations.
Being so close to Victoria Station makes onward travel simple, and the surrounding streets offer plenty of pubs, restaurants and other eateries within walking distance. It's worth noting that some guests have found noise can be an issue, so light sleepers may want to bear this in mind when booking a room.
What guests say
We stayed at the Georgian House Hotel for two nights on our Harry Potter themed London trip. Staff was absolutely incredible, very nice and super helpful. We booked an enchanted Wizard themed room and it was amazing. Not only did the room fulfill our brightest wizard dreams but on top of that we got a booklet with some Harry Potter themed information about London, a small riddle and coins that we could trade for wizard treats. We felt very welcome and had a delightful stay. Thank you to the incredible staff who made our stay even more magical than „just“ the room and provided us with Harry Potter movies and so much fun that we are sad to leave. We‘ll remember this hotel forever and hope to be back another time!

I had a great stay! The room wasn't exactly what was shown in the website photo (I suppose I just got a different room) but it was nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary bag drop service was great as I was able to walk around and do some sightseeing free of my luggage. I highly recommend booking on their website directly, because their breakfast is really nice! Lots of options to choose from and the brioche french toast was stellar. The location is great, a very short walk from Victoria station but you can also walk from a couple other metro stations. There's a sainsburys pretty close, too, which is super useful. The only thing I'd suggest is to buy your own bottled water. They have a jug of water in the room but the tap water in London honestly tastes so bad.

The staff made our stay in London a real pleasure. They were very accommodating and hardworking. Even though we only stayed for one night, we felt well taken care of. The location is also perfect, as it’s within walking distance to the coach station and bus stops. I would definitely choose this hotel again the next time we travel to London.

🧡We stayed in the apartment basement garden, and it was absolutely wonderful. The place was very clean, tidy, and cozy — everything felt like it had just been newly renovated. Having our own little garden area was a lovely bonus and made the stay even more special. Since the apartment is in an old building, we could occasionally hear footsteps from the upstairs neighbors, which is completely understandable and didn’t bother us at all. As expected with a traditional basement apartment, there are steep stairs leading down, but even with children, we didn’t find this to be an issue — it actually added a bit of charm and made the experience feel unique and fun :) The hotel’s website had clear and helpful information, and the apartment itself is located in the next block from the hotel reception, which worked well for us. We made our own breakfast in the apartment, and the kitchen was well-equipped for that. The location is also great — only about a 10-minute walk from Victoria Station, with shops and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again!🧡
