Excellent stay, would return We had an excellent stay and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was very good, with fresh, high-quality options to start the day. The rooms were comfortable and well kept — one was on the smaller side, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The only real drawback was that the breakfast area got quite crowded, which made the mornings feel a little busy. Overall, a very good hotel that I’d rate 9 out of 10. I’d mainly suggest expanding the breakfast selection. Adding a few more options — such as a choice of cheeses and cured meats (ham), along with a wider variety of fresh fruit — would round things out nicely. It might also help to ease the crowding at breakfast, perhaps with a slightly larger seating area or staggered serving times.

The location is highly convenient, being close to Hammersmith Station with various amenities nearby, such as supermarkets, banks, and pubs. I had breakfast on the ground floor, and it was wonderful to bring back some delicious food to enjoy the World Cup matches in a comfortable, cool setting. Having access to a table was also deeply appreciated. The room was clean and well-maintained. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude especially to Mr. Menino.

Although there was an issue with the air conditioning in my room, Noel at reception was exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful. He quickly arranged a room change and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. His excellent customer service really made a difference to my stay. Thank you, Noel! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting London for the first time and were SO glad we chose this hotel in the Hammersmith area. Pros: - Amazing location! Less than 10 minute walk to two different well-connected Tube stations (Hammersmith and Ravenscourt Park). 8 minute walk to the River Thames and several great riverside pubs. Great restaurants and shops all along King Street (make sure to go support the Amnesty bookshop!). The area and hotel itself were sufficiently quiet for us, though we didn't stay during a weekend, so perhaps it's less quiet on a Friday or Saturday. We never felt even a little unsafe walking around at night visiting the nearby pubs. - Great value! 4 nights for about $475 USD total (though that may have been an IHG member rate, I'm not sure). Breakfast buffet is included and it was decent. Room was dated for sure, but for this price in London Zone 2, we truly can't complain. - Staff were wonderful, just like everyone else we met in London. Kind and attentive, quickly giving us extras of anything we asked for. Wish I'd caught the names of some to shout them out. Improvement areas: - No microwave in the room. This was the only thing we felt was missing. - As stated above, the rooms are dated-- there were some stains on the carpet + cracks in the bathroom floor tiles, etc. Despite that, the room felt clean + housekeeping did a good job. There were no bugs of any kind, or signs of them (I check every hotel mattress for signs of bed bugs!). Some might also think the rooms are a little small, but for a couple it was perfect. - Air con could have worked a little better/faster, but I'm aware most of Europe doesn't have the caliber of AC we do in the states. I was initially worried I'd need to ask for a fan or something because I'm quite heat intolerant, but it ended up not being an issue. I could see it being one if staying in the summer months instead of early March though. I've had a few experiences where a hotel added to travel stress instead of helping us relax, so thanks HIE Hammersmith for doing the latter! Would definitely stay again.
