About Hotel Xanadu

Large windows in every one of the 46 rooms are one of the first things guests notice at Hotel Xanadu, letting plenty of light into what are generally clean, comfortable spaces. The hotel occupies 26-42 Bond Street in Ealing, west London, putting Ealing Broadway station within easy reach for anyone heading into central London or exploring the surrounding area.

A continental breakfast is served each morning, and the restaurant, bar and snack bar cover meals and drinks throughout the day without needing to leave the building. Guests also have use of an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a spa and sauna, along with air conditioning, a garden, and meeting rooms for those travelling on business. Free on-site parking is available, which is a genuine convenience in this part of London, and porter and concierge services are on hand for extra help. Free WiFi is provided throughout, though it can be a little unreliable at times.

Staff are consistently described as friendly, and the hotel is generally considered good value for the location. Beyond the doors, Ealing offers nearby pubs, bars and restaurants, along with other entertainment options, making it a practical base for a night out or a longer stay in the city.

The wifi failed on the first day and the staff seemed powerless to get it fixed. Not good for an international traveler working with limited phone data. The power sockets by the bed were bespoke so you couldn't plug in anything. The shower was a little small and mounted on the long side of the cubicle which meant standing in the corner. Also the thermostat seemed to be broken because the water kept running hot and cold. To many problems with this hotel to recommend it.

I had a amazing time at this hotel. Tina the manager went out her way to make our stay special as it was my sister birthday. I really recommend this hotel. It's in a good location with loads of restaurants and shops near by and a tube station.

Pathetic. Just checked into the suite and the wifi is not working. Asked the receptionist and got a BS answer ie it’s not working and not sure when it will be. One would think that basics would be provided. Have lived in absolute dumps where at least everything works and the staff try. Great Nespresso machine BUT 1 pod to be shared. Receptionist said he’s checked the entire hotel and can’t find any. Good one. What a joke and had to mark 1 star if not Google will not let me post And updated the review for the 2nd day running without any wifi after having been told in the morning that it would be up. Once again, same receptionist made no attempt to help.
