This B+B is exactly what I expected. The room extra spacious for two (had an extra bed for a third person so technically it was a three bed room). The location is excellent in a quiet typical English neighborhood. The metro station is less than ten minutes walk, the are bus lines, coffee shops right next and also a super market in the way to the station (another shopping center and coffee shops adjacent to the station too). The proprietors were super accommodating and allowed a very late checkout on our last day. Thank you so much. Tip: The shutters on the windows swing away so you can open the window for fresh air. At first it looks like they are fixed in place but they are actually hinged.

Clean and tidy with a super host. I was looking to move accommodation in London, after 5 days at an accommodation chain. I found Marple Cottage on a google search of Wimbledon and called direct to speak to Nick (Manager), as I wanted to move the next day. Nick was very accommodating, given I wanted to move in considerably earlier than the advertised check in time. Marple Cottage is clean, tidy and very well run by Nick and Bridgette (Mum). After a trip to Birmingham I had further accommodation already booked and paid for in Fulham Broadway. Upon getting to this accommodation I found it dirty and not well maintained, so called Nick at Marple Cottage again to see if he could find a room for me. Nick was again very helpful and I again moved in early the next day. I look forward to booking in again on my next visit to London, this time with some advanced notice 😊 Thanks again to Nick and Bridgette for your hospitality and going above and beyond in your service. I've stayed here a couple of time and always will when in I'm the area. Always clean and tidy , and a lovely place. I left my coat there and Nick the owner was so kind to return it to me as I was unable to go and get it . A true gentleman, thank you Nick . Will be back again at some point.

Stayed here many times over the years as it s a first class, welcoming accommodation. Owners lovely, comfy bed, clean rooms and good healthy breakfast. What's not to like. Plus great for the tennis.
