A no-frills guest house in South West London, handy for Wimbledon and central London, with simple private rooms and a garden.
About Compton Guest House
South West London, within reach of both Wimbledon and central London, is where Compton Guest House makes its home on Compton Road. It's a straightforward B&B setup rather than a polished hotel, offering pared-down private rooms alongside a bunk bed room that suits families or groups travelling together.
Guests get free WiFi throughout, a small garden to sit out in, and drinks available in the room. There's a bar on site and 24 hour reception, so arrival times are flexible. The rooms themselves are kept simple, so this suits travellers after a functional base rather than added luxury, though a spa and sauna are also on the property.
Beyond the guest house, there's a golf course, pubs, bars and restaurants nearby, along with other entertainment options in the surrounding area. It's a practical choice for those wanting easy access to both Wimbledon and the wider capital without paying for extras they won't use.
What guests say
a friendly welcome by the Korean lady owner and a clean double room with an ensuite shower and a very comfortable bed. I got a good night's sleep as the location is very quiet. I don't know why some previous guests have written poor reviews as it's a very reasonably priced guest house for Wimbledon. I recommend Compton guest house. 👍

Really not very happy!! Cancelled booking well in advance but they refused to give me my money back!! They were not interested in me or my reason, just wanted to make sure they kept my money!

It is a great guest house, the room was very clean and the people in the office were super nice. It is also located very close to the station and many amenities.
