Excellent hotel! Highly recommended Lovely hotel in a really quiet area of London. Nearby there are bars, pubs, and cafés, and there is also a metro station and buses that easily take you to the city center. The room is small but has everything: kettle, iron, and hairdryer. There are only a few power outlets available, so if you have many devices, I would recommend bringing a multi-plug adapter. The reception does not provide UK adapters, so if you forget one, you’ll need to buy it. The bathroom is perfect and has everything you need. The room is very well soundproofed considering it is in a central location. I felt very comfortable during my stay. The quality-price ratio is quite good. However, as expected in London, everything is quite expensive. The breakfast could be improved. There are not many options and it is not a buffet, but they do have a menu with a few dishes.

We had a brilliant couple of days at the Staunton which was an ideal location for our visit. The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was delicious we will definitely stay again when we visit London.

Nice and cosy hotel, in a victorian style building. Conveniently placed in the hearth of the tourist area, very close to the British Museum with buses stops and metro stations in proximity. Very rich breakfast. Smiling and supporting staff.

Refused to provide any refund when our booking needed to be cancelled due to a medical reason. The cancellation request was submitted nearly a month ahead of the booking. While booking terms are understandable, it is quite unfortunate that they couldn't reconsider for extenuating circumstances. Would recommend other hotels nearby in area with more sensible policies.
