About The Biltmore Mayfair LXR Hotels and Resorts

A substantial presence on Grosvenor Square, The Biltmore Mayfair LXR Hotels and Resorts spans 307 rooms across one of London's most prestigious addresses. The scale of the building allows for a broad range of facilities without losing the polish expected in this part of town, and its Mayfair setting puts Bond Street and Hyde Park within easy reach.

Rooms are spacious and well-presented, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and in-room drinks as standard, plus family rooms for those travelling with children. A restaurant and bar sit on-site alongside room service, while the gym has been fitted out to a high standard for guests who want to keep up a routine while away. Business services, meeting rooms and concierge support extend the hotel's reach to corporate stays, and laundry, luggage storage and childcare add further practical support.

Staff are generally attentive and the overall feel is clean and comfortable, though service standards have occasionally been inconsistent according to some visitors. Pets are welcome, and the surrounding streets offer plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment within walking distance.

My experience at this hotel has always been excellent, which is why I usually stay here whenever I visit London. The hotel itself is beautiful, the service is great, and the location is perfect. However, the reason I’m giving only two stars is because of a very strange incident that happened to me; something I have never experienced in any hotel in any country I’ve traveled to. I placed a room service order, and the bill was £68. When the room service employee arrived, he asked whether I wanted to pay by cash or card. I first said card, then he asked if I had cash instead. I told him yes, and I paid him in cash. On top of that, I even gave him a tip. But when I checked out, I was surprised to see the amount still charged to my account. When I informed the reception that I had already paid in cash, they told me the payment had not been recorded and that they would deduct it from my deposit. If I had not been in a hurry to catch my flight, I would never have allowed them to charge me a second time. I sincerely hope management investigates this matter. They should have the name of the room service employee and the invoice number, which is 146. Honestly, this was very unprofessional behavior both from the employee and from the reception staff. I strongly advise guests to be careful and avoid paying in cash.

I recently stayed at the Biltmore Mayfair and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the heart of Mayfair and within easy walking distance of many of London’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. I also found the front desk team to be professional, welcoming, and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Their service made both check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. There were a couple of minor issues during my stay. One of my rooms was located near the fire exit, which could be a bit annoying at times due to the activity and noise in that area. In another room, the smart washlet in the toilet did not have a controller available, which limited its functionality and was somewhat inconvenient. Despite these small drawbacks, my overall experience was very positive. The combination of a prime location, clean accommodations, and attentive service made for a memorable stay. I would happily recommend the Biltmore Mayfair to anyone visiting London and would gladly stay there again.

The level of cleanliness in the hotel is really shocking (its awful) Worst thing to arrive exhausted and right after check in you find hair in the bed The description/info on booking.com dont match the rooms you get. Their excuse is booking.com is not our website okk who provided them with this information and who takes responsibility for lack of info. The whole experience after being exhausted from the flight is just bad. We book 5 star hotels to rest not to hustle after the hotel to do their job Also the service is bad they are not genuine and helpful they want to get rid of you. Trust me I dont want to be having a conversation about how this place is lacking either! I want a clean room I booked and paid for that’s it. The bare minimum. The amount of hair i found on the sheets is astonishing. They came changed the sheets and guess what it was full of hair I opened a towel and guess what? I found a hair? The Baltimore hotel? ❌No the hairy hotel is more accurate ✔️
