About Travelodge London Beckton
A pizza eatery, pub and restaurant sit within easy reach of Travelodge London Beckton, making it simple to grab a meal without venturing far from Segro Park Newham. Drinks are also available in the room, and the 24 hour reception means arrivals and requests are never limited to office hours.
The hotel has 113 rooms across four floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, served by a lift. It's a straightforward, no-frills base rather than a place for lingering in the room, and some guests have found the upkeep patchy in places. Pets are welcome, and chargeable on-site parking is available, including an electric vehicle charge point, with vehicles registered at reception.
The setting near ExCeL, London City Airport and Royal Docks makes this a practical choice for events, flights or docklands business, and the surrounding area is generally quiet, though some find it a little out of the way. Staff are consistently described as helpful, and the pricing reflects a straightforward value proposition rather than added luxury.

What guests say
I had a wonderful experience staying at Travelodge, and I especially want to thank Irene for making my stay so much better. She went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed, always with a genuine smile and such a positive attitude. Her kindness, patience, and willingness to help really stood out. While all the staff were polite and professional, Irene’s exceptional customer service and warm personality made a lasting impression on me. She truly made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Thank you, Irene, for your outstanding support I hope Travelodge knows what a fantastic team member they have!

Really convenient hotel to majority East and Central London, very close to the motorway. Private parking with plenty of parking bays although you have to pay £7 per day (24hours) not that bad considering majority of the parking fees in London but bit cheeky to forcing your "Guests/Customer" to pay for parking when there's no other option like on street parking etc. Anyway the staff are very nice and helpful, check-in was very easy as we had booked in advance but the guy at the desk was friendly and chatty and especially junior who was extremely helpful later on. Have to say you get more than what you pay for in the room, can't expect 5 star room at 2 star prices. Gave 4 star just because of the parking charge, I mean if there were other options for us then I could understand but its in the middle of an industrial estate next to a motorway/bypass so where else could qe have parked

We arrived around 11:50am asking if we could check in a little earlier, we did already have early check in and was told to wait till 12 witch was absolutely fine. We returned around 12:10 to be told our room wasn’t ready. 5 other early check in bookings arrived to be told the same thing. The guy on reception said it was due to the managers not rotating the housekeeping team in for 10am but at 11am instead. They hadn’t checked how many people were checking in at 12pm onwards. I had to wait 50 minutes in reception until the room was available, he had told us that the room was clean and ready to go but he had to wait for housekeeping to tick it on the system, the poor lad was all by his self as the “manager” was busy. I was offered a standard double but I had book the superior. I asked if I would get refunded the difference but he said it was unlikely, so I waited until the room I had paid for was available. Someone else then came out and said “it’s FROM 12pm onwards” in a customers point of view this means I can check in “FROM” 12pm, if this isn’t the case I asked why is it not advertised as “between 12-3” as cases like this can happen. My friends had booked a family room and had the same issues. No rooms available. The hotel was very busy due to a local event everyone was attending so a lot of people had booked earlier check in… a lot of angry customers worried about losing our entry spots to this event. I can’t fault the guy on reception dealing with a lot of angry customers, he was extremely helpful! But the management is very poor, the fact they didn’t even come out to talk to us was appalling, no apology or anything. I use Travelodge a lot and have never had any issues but this was one of the most unorganised Travleloge’s I’ve ever visited.
