Really enjoyed our meal here. The spicy beef was incredibly tender and full of flavour without being overwhelmingly spicy. The stir-fried whelk was fresh with a nice crunchy texture and paired perfectly with the vegetables. Portions were large, prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed. One of the better Chinese restaurants I’ve visited, and I’ll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The crispy sweet and sour chicken was perfectly cooked with a delicious balance of sweetness and tanginess, and the vegetables stayed crisp and vibrant. The spicy chicken in chili oil was incredibly tender and packed with authentic Sichuan flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy. The stir-fried Chinese greens with garlic were fresh, simple, and complemented the other dishes perfectly. The portions were generous, making it great value for money. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Everything arrived quickly, and you could tell great care was taken with each dish. This is definitely a place I would happily return to whenever I’m craving authentic Chinese food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable dining experience!

My friend and I were craving traditional Northern East Chinese food today, and this restaurant delivered everything we hoped for. They are our local canteen, but still love it. The spicy shredded potato salad and crystal wide noodle salad were absolutely spot on: fresh, cold, and full of that Northeast flavour we grew up with.The highlight of the night was the Guo Bao Rou (锅包肉). Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, with a glossy sweet tangy sauce that tasted exactly like home. Althought, we feel it is a bit on the sweet side today. We left completely satisfied. If you’re looking for authentic Dongbei dishes, this place is a gem.

Great Chinese restaurant with delicious food and friendly service. We ordered the cold liangpi, stir-fried water spinach and clams. The liangpi was refreshing and flavourful, the water spinach was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the clams were very tasty and fresh. Generous portions and good value for money. Will definitely come back again!
