Saikei Chinese Restaurant

Kevin, the restaurant manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. He was incredibly supportive throughout the planning process, offering expert advice and suggestions that truly made our day special. It felt incredibly intimate and private, which is exactly what we wanted for our group. The food was outstanding, especially the Chicken, Crispy Pork, and Roast Duck main courses, which our guests absolutely loved. The private area is a fantastic space for parties of up to 100 people, and the location is perfect. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring every guest was well looked after. We were especially touched to host our wedding here, as many of our friends dine at this restaurant and some even got married here 20 years ago! It’s rare to find a venue that maintains such consistency in food quality and service over the decades. It is clear why they have such a long-standing reputation, their expertise made our big day amazing. Thank you, Kevin, for making our celebration so special. We can’t wait to come back to eat again soon! 5 stars, highly recommended!

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 20-years for Dim Sum. It is without doubt the best Dim Sum I have ever eaten. On a Sunday over 1,000 people are served delicious delights efficiently. Most of the diners are from the Chinese and Vietnamese communities, meeting friends and enjoying family meals, with bubbly atmosphere. I cannot recommend Saikei enough. If you fancy dinner here the food is delicious too, what my family calls a Chinese Chinese restaurant

We had a really great experience, the food was hot fresh and arrived quite quickly. The staff were nice, very focused and friendly enough. The overall experience for the cost of our meal was very worth it. The restaurant was very busy but the team were very professional and productive in keeping things moving. If you like dim sum, and are in the area, definitely worth visiting.

We’ve held a few banquets here and the service and food has been excellent. Banquets are generally quite hectic but the staff were very attentive. Kevin, the manager, is great! He is attentive and polite and ensures that events held are special. Dim sum and à la carte is also really nice! 😊
