The Rushmere

We had a lovely lunch at Rushmere and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The setting is beautiful, especially on a sunny day, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The food was excellent. The steak was cooked exactly as requested—tender, full of flavour and served with a fresh salad, cherry tomatoes and pickles that complemented it perfectly. The fresh pasta was equally delicious, with just the right amount of chilli and a rich, well-balanced sauce. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients. A special thank you to Sasha, who looked after us throughout our visit. He was warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us time to enjoy our meal. His professionalism and cheerful manner really enhanced the whole experience. Overall, the combination of excellent food, outstanding service and a lovely atmosphere made for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We’ll definitely be returning and would happily recommend Rushmere to anyone looking for a relaxed meal in beautiful surroundings.

I want to thank Sean and the team at the Rushmere for assisting me as I hosted my first Swing Dance Social in Wimbledon. As a dance teacher I was used to teaching classes but not hosting a ticketed event with DJ and performances. The Rushmere supported me in this community event, providing a lovely intimate area, good vibes, friendly bar staff and flexibility if ticket sales failed. The event went well and ticket sales were great. All the guests said they wanted more socials like this in the future. My guests also enjoyed the fine menu as some travelled from afar. Thank you and good job!

We had a brilliant experience. Mesha was our server and she was fantastic,friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny, which made the whole visit really enjoyable. She struck the perfect balance of checking in without being pushy, and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great, the food was excellent, and the service really made our visit. We’ll definitely be back!

Quite literally the best sausage roll I’ve ever had in my life. Tears in my eyes. The redhead barmaid is the most gorgeous human inside and out. COME HERE IMMEDIATELY!
