I chose a single room which was small but serviceable. The breakfasts were spectacular. The staff were great. Easy walking to the waterfront and museums (especially rhe FreeDerry museum)...and pubs...

We stayed in Angel House back in 2021. We stayed in room 7 the previous time and by chance got the same room again this time 17.01.25. The heat was unmerciful in the room had to leave windows open it was making us feel ill, one of the windows didn't even open. I was disappointed to see the sink in bathroom hadn't been replaced as it had a huge crack and hole in it, and the ugly wires still hanging out of the wall in the room. What saved this place was the location and the gorgeous breakfast the previous time. To my massive disappointment we came down the stairs this morning at 9.45 to be told breakfast is over. 8-9.30 for breakfast is ridiculous of a Sunday morning and you away for the night.

We booked Serendipity hotel several months in advance and the day of arrival we got an email with a check-in info to Angels House 3star hotel across the street without any explanation. In our room in Serendipity hotel, there were someone else' stuff (we had the code to the door from previous email). Only then they told us they moved us to another room, which was significantly worse, but we were charged for the original Deluxe Room (online the price difference was aroud 50£). We called the manager and he was rude and didnt do anything about the situation. There was also only cold water in the shower, which wasnt fixed for the whole stay. Also a bit mold in the shower. The breakfast was good and the staff on site was nice, only the manager was very unhelpful and unpleasant. Not worth it, when you have a problem, they wont do anything to solve it.
