What visitors say
We had a wonderful 2 night stay for a motorbiking tour around the Peak District. Great location, lovely and peaceful. Amazing farm shop and excellent breakfast. Very well organised from booking, safe location with locked gate, shower and toilet facilities great for a campsite. Hosts very friendly and accommodating with later check-out. Would definitely recommend and it's on our list to visit again.

Only stayed for one night as a break the journey spot. Found it very friendly and the facilities although small were spotless. The Farm shop opposite was incredible and great to have a pub only 3 minutes away on foot. If it’s a quiet peaceful site with great views is your thing then you won’t go wrong.

We stayed here for the last Saturday and Sunday in July. Given this is high season the site was quiet, relaxed and the pitch spacious. The owners were both helpful and friendly. The loo’s and showers, although limited (2 only) were clean and mostly tidy. The pitches varied, some flat and some sloping. The farm shop and restaurant opposite was a great addition. We enjoyed Sunday lunch there and it was excellent value. On the downside the charge of £8.00 for electric hook up per day seemed exorbitant. I say that because the last site we stayed at had electric meters where you paid for exactly the amount of electricity used. This cost us £2.80 for two nights. Overall we enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again.
