What visitors say
I was staying in my campervan. Very well located campsite situated on a well kept gentle slope and with fantastic views across the valley and distant hills. Flat pitches on a gentle slope with running water, toilet and shower facilities ( all appears very new in 2026). The host Jim was a very friendly chap and made me feel most welcome.

Stopped here for 1 night just a quick stop over while on route somewhere. The gentleman that runs it was away so did a bank transfer and really easy to deal with. Toilet and shower cubicle very cute and very clean with lovely little touches in there. It was raining very heavy but on a clear sunny day this place will be beautiful looking out over the countryside. Would definitely stop here again if am ever this way

We are here now! This is an absolutely stunning place. We booked 2 nights but are hoping to book another couple. There were only 2 vans last night, it was so quiet. We had the facilities to ourselves and they were spotless. The bbq area is amazing. The little bar area is an added touch. Each pitch has its own water and waste. The views are fantastic. There is a path to both villages both having a pub which are 10min walk in either direction. We will be trying one of them this evening. There is a walk through fields to the reservoir straight from the site, It will take about 20mins, then there is a walk all around the reservoir. Great for dogs, our lab is so happy to be here. Jim the owner is very friendly. There is a shower and toilet and washing up area, mainly for the bell tents but Jim said we can use the facilities. A fabulous place and will definitely be back.

We had the best time glamping! It has everything we needed, a bbq (bring your own coal) and fire pit (purchase the logs from owner Jim) and an outdoor bath with a view!! (It also has a private shower and toilet cubicle just for the glampers) We hosted a 60th birthday party for my brother in law and it was the perfect location. Jim also opened up “the stagger inn” where you can get some beer, wine etc for a donation! Perfect 🍷 The glamping tents themselves were amazing and had literally everything you could need, battery packs for charging phones, tea and coffee and mine even had a log burner, We had the best weekend, thank you Leona and Jim, see you next year 🤞🏼
