Milton Keynes sits within easy reach of the Northamptonshire countryside, and The Woodshed sits on a 4-acre nursery in this quieter corner. Originally built as an 18th-century groom's cottage, it has been converted into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property that keeps its character while offering modern amenities. The setting is genuinely rural and secluded, yet accessible for exploring nearby attractions and towns.

Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a smart TV and electric woodburner. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and washer dryer all included. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and an ensuite with bath and shower. Upstairs, bedroom 2 contains two single beds (zip-and-link configuration) and its own ensuite shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, electricity and heating are all covered. The property is entirely yours—no shared facilities.

Outside, the front garden has seating and furniture, plus a barbecue and outdoor fire pit. There's parking for two cars on site and an electric car charging point. Valley views stretch across the garden. The cottage does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.

One of the best companies I have dealt with. Very approachable, superb product, very substantial. We bought two over the fence planters last year and five this year. The year old ones still look as good as the new ones. Can't praise this company enough

Absolutely fantastic products. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Every single person I have had the pleasure of speaking to has been extremely helpful and friendly, this backed up with excellent quality products and fantastic customer service. Had a few items now and already looking for my next piece. Bravo guys, keep up the good work, I WILL be speaking to you about my next piece very soon x

The items are not fit for purpose. They are advertised as over the fence planters. We filled it with compost and plants and the wood has cracked in multiple places - especially where they have used screws. This means that they can't be hung on our fence as the wood is about to split on the front and back panels. Do not waste your money buying nice plants and planting them into these planters, you will either find them on the floor or have to purchase other pots within a few days of filling them as they will also have cracked. See photos - this has happened on every corner on all 3 planters that we purchased. Multiple emails to Woodshed Ltd' and one of the responses was " All timber will move and crack especially the rustic versions". It's all well and good for them to say that but it's not their money that they are spending on plants and time. The customer service has been completely dismissive of the problem. Best find another solution for your planters. Happy Gardening!
