Hook Farm Camping and Caravan Park
Gore Ln, Uplyme, Lyme Regis DT7 3UU, UK
Family-run touring park in Uplyme, a riverside walk from Lyme Regis
About Hook Farm Camping and Caravan Park
Hook Farm occupies a genuinely rural spot in the Lym valley just over the Devon border, with views across wooded hillsides and hedgerows, yet Lyme Regis harbour and town centre are reachable on foot in twenty to twenty-five minutes via a well-signed riverside path. That balance of quiet countryside and easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach has made it a regular return for campers who want Lyme Regis without pitching in the town itself.
The family-run park covers around seven acres of level and gently sloping grass, with a good range of pitches from small non-electric tent spots to extra-large serviced plots and hardstanding for motorhomes. Facilities are straightforward and well-maintained—heated showers, a small shop stocked with camping essentials and barbecue supplies, laundry, electric hook-ups on most pitches, and a motorhome service point. Dogs are welcome, and the surrounding lanes and coast path make for excellent walking straight from your pitch.
Some visitors note that parts of the site can feel a little tired, but the long-standing family management, peaceful setting and that unbeatable Lyme Regis location continue to draw campers back year after year.

What visitors say
Just arrived at hook farm first impression nice little shop and reception, friendly lady. We got shown to our pitch, by a gentleman that’s where it ended, we got a tiny pitch on a corner which was ok but we had to reverse in which was blocked the sun by a tree and couldn’t put our awning out, we asked the guy if we could drive in forward, as the van next to us had done so, but was told NO, it wouldn’t have encroached on anyone and even the guy next to us said don’t no why you can’t? So we left got into a lovely site literally 9 minutes away, they couldn’t have been more accommodating, told us our pitch and said have a look and drive round if you find somewhere else that’s empty park there and just let us know. Same money but don’t have to pay extra to have a shower. First impressions of hook are good but once go past reception it needs a good tidy up.

Couldnt fault this place. Friendly helpfull staff. The cleanest shower blocks ive seen. Nice pitches we were lucky to have one on the upper level with amazing views. The inly down side was the local pub was not doing food on one of the days we decided to eat out. Bust check first.

What a fantastic site. We had a lovely pitch with privacy hedges overlooking the site and saw a couple of amazing sunsets. Facilities where excellent. Lovely walk into Lyme Regis by the river covered with bluebells and wild garlic. Absolutely no negatives at all. We will definitely be going back . Thank you for having us.

Stayed in a bell tent with my 4 year old and it was gorgeous. Our welcome was warm and friendly. Beautiful view, impressively clean facilities and a calm, peaceful, well laid out site.
