About Mottram Hall
Mottram Hall is a substantial period house on Wilmslow Rd near Macclesfield, the kind of stately Cheshire building that now works as a large hotel while keeping its historic character intact. Across its 120 rooms guests get en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, family and accessible options, and touches like room service, drinks in room and free WiFi throughout.
Facilities run well beyond the bedrooms: there's a restaurant serving breakfast and packed lunches, a bar, a gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool for year-round use. The gardens and outdoor seating make the most of the grounds, while meeting rooms and childcare on request suit both business stays and family visits. It's also set up as a wedding venue, with lifts and luggage storage covering the practical side of a stay.
Outside, the surrounding area offers golf, cycling routes and walking country, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out. Free on-site parking makes it straightforward to arrive by car and explore Macclesfield and the wider Cheshire countryside from a fixed base.
