The single bedroom centres on a king-size bed with memory foam, while the ensuite has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. A living and dining space includes a sofa bed and desk, with a smart TV for evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and coffee machine all provided—so you can prepare meals without leaving the property.

The lodge sits within 13 acres of grounds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a shared summerhouse, sun loungers and garden furniture scattered across the land. One small dog is welcome. Parking for two cars is on site. Essentials like electricity, heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The property does have a step in the grounds and an unfenced lake nearby, so these are worth knowing about. Maidstone town is about 8 miles away, with leisure facilities, theatres and shops; Leeds Castle and the Archbishop's Palace are within reach for day trips. Walking and cycling routes are accessible from the property.
