What visitors say
An enjoyable 2 nights camping at Roundoak, site was lovely and facilties good. Staff were friendly and helpful particularly Louise and Rose. The Coos and Cuppa experience was more than I had hoped for, thoroughly enjoyed getting up close and personal with all the animals especially the Highlands.

I took my mother to Roundoak Farm on 17th Feb. I'd booked in August 2025 as it was a special birthday (her 70th). Id been in touch with them about 3 weeks before to ask for directions etc as I hadn't heard anything. They were quick to email back. Unfortunately when we were on the way, a lot of the roads were closed due to flooding which we weren't made aware of. We turned up at the farm and they had no record of our booking and were doing something else with a cadet group, which was odd and never got to the bottom of. Anyway, there was a young girl there who offered to take us round and let us meet the cows anyway. She was so knowledgeable, was telling us about her college course etc. She was brilliant. Rose said they would try to accommodate anyway, which they did and my mum had a good day nonetheless. I would recommend. Unfortunately life happens sometimes and things get lost in translation but we had a good day. The farm was kind enough to offer us a partial refund and invited us back for a lambing day which we will absolutely attend.

All I can say is I wish we booked for longer, it’s beautiful, peaceful and very welcoming, Gary who welcomed us in was very welcoming and passionate about the farm and the work he does! we spoke to Norman the owner (I might of forgotten that we had to pay cash) who was of course very lovely! And very helpful even if I had to phone him at 8am in the morning and disturb him in Scotland (sorry!!) I Would honestly recommend this site to anyone, It was home away from home for us as we came from the West Country! Don’t forget that Kent has beautiful country side too,

We booked for the Highland Cow and afternoon tea experience. We had such a great time meeting all of the cows and other farm animals. We enjoyed a couple of fun buggy rides between the two farms, covering a fair bit of ground. Duke, the Highland bull, was very obliging with allowing us to stroke him, as were many of the other breeds. The tour was really informative and we learned so much about the different breeds. The private afternoon tea in the barn afterwards was a really special moment. The tea was set up beautifully with a roaring fire, fairy lights and a really cosy, romantic feel. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Thank you so much to the team for making our trip so lovely and memorable. Highly recommended experience.
