Pilgrim Cottage

Hollingbourne sits on walking country in the Kent North Downs, with The Pilgrims' Way and North Downs Way passing through the village itself. Leeds Castle is a short drive away. Pilgrim Cottage is a Victorian house at the heart of the community, built in the 1840s with original features—wood floors, beams and fireplaces—alongside modern heating and plumbing. The layout spreads across two floors: downstairs has a living room with a woodburner and TV, a second sitting area without a screen, and a kitchen with a range, dishwasher and washing machine. Three bedrooms sleep six: a super king with an ensuite shower, a king, and a double. A family bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking family meals, and there's an enclosed garden with a patio and barbecue for outdoor eating when the weather allows. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage suits groups or families wanting a base for exploring the footpaths, or simply somewhere to unwind away from town. The village has three pubs within walking distance. Note that the property has open stairs and six steps lead down into the garden. Smoking is not permitted.
