The Cottage at Harple Farm

The Cottage at Harple Farm is built from stone with exposed beams, wooden ceilings and deep-set windows that frame views across the Kent countryside. Character runs through every room—from the substantial inglenook fireplace with working wood burner in the living space to the four-poster bed in the main bedroom upstairs. The kitchen is fully fitted for cooking, and there's a wood burner for the colder months with fuel provided from November to March.

Three bedrooms across two floors sleep five: upstairs, a super-king four-poster with ensuite shower; downstairs, two singles and a third single on the first floor. Two bathrooms means no queuing. The enclosed patio garden has seating for outdoor meals, and beyond that a lawn where children can play. One dog stays free. You have sole use of the property and private parking for two cars; essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

The cottage sits on a working farm where Shetland ponies graze in the front paddock and two friendly horses live at the back—visible from the upstairs windows along with wild rabbits in the meadow beyond. The setting suits families, friends and couples after a countryside retreat away from a main road.
